The main causes for women’s departures are exhaustion, microaggressions, lack of true inclusion and belonging, lack of relevant training and complex development opportunities, and lack of remote work / flexible work schedules.

This reality is even more striking as on November 22nd, 2022, the European Parliament formally adopted the new EU law on gender balance on corporate boards. By 2026 companies will need to have 40% of the underrepresented sex among non-executive directors or 33% among all directors.
